Surfer's House is a cozy and familiar hostel with two 4 to bed dormitories and one twin room with bathroom accesses, which is located just 2 minutes driving distance from Batu Bolong and Echo beach to the main surf spots in Canggu.
Surfer's House offers a kitchen with all necessary equipment and complementary water, tea and coffee. Our guests will enjoy a beautiful garden with BBQ area, mango trees and hammocks to relax after an exciting surf session.

Year round Surf destination. April to November is the dry season and most popular time. Jan-Feb expect heavy afternoon rains but still plenty of surf and less crowds.
Bali benefits from an almost endless supply of Southern Ocean groundswell meaning you are very rarely disappointed. SW swells wrap around the Bukit peninsula creating an array of world class lefts including the infamous Uluwatu which is Bali's most consistent wave. It is for the more experienced surfers and it tends to section when it's smaller which does spread the crowds out by allowing take offs almost anywhere down the line. The wave is broken down into three sections, Inside corner, Racetracks and Outside corner.
Further down the Bukit peninsula you can find Padang Padang which is home to Bali's most desired barrel and a more chilled out Bali surf holidays place to stay than the busier Kuta. It is a beautiful white sandy beach with reef out back for the more advanced, while in front it is perfect for beginners.
Bingin reef is a fun short tube wave, that can get crowded.
Dreamland beach is next in line and is one of the more user friendly beaches on the Bukit. It runs from deep water and can often be a shore break where you need to avoid creasing your board or hitting one of the many tourists playing on the inside.
Balangan is slightly more secluded with another perfect looking left point. It fires when the swell direction is big enough and coming from the right direction.
For beginners & intermediates there are many quality beach breaks around including the long beach break in the centre of Kuta and up to Legian. Further north west is Canggu which has a better mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced waves than the high performance waves on the Bukit Peninusla.
On the east side of the island you can find Nusa Dua, Sanur & further up Keramus. This side of Bali tends to work better in the Wet season (October to April).
Across from the Bali Peninsula is Grajagan or G-Land. A much more remote spot than the rest of Bali, surrounded by thick jungle and wild animals. It is often referred to as the best wave in the world. A long very consistent wave with a variety of different sections. but mostly for experienced surfers.

How did you like the accommodation?
I like the accomodation very much. With common area to chill comfortably. Do remember to prepare effective mosquito repellent. The area has slightly busy traffic. There are plenty of places to choose for food, massage and shopping. I especially like the local restaurants offering local food.
How were the surf lessons?
The surf lessons are very helpful. Instructor looks after me very well. The beaches are perfect.

I stayed here about 10 days for Private Surf lesson and Bed Package.
Hugo and Indra are really friendly and careful for guests.
Located in lovely, hipster village, which is really near by Batu bolong and Echo beach. Sufers House is clean(thanks to kind staff), facilities working well and safe.
How were the surf lessons?
For Surf lesson, Indra is really nice instructor for beginner like me. Not only Indra encourage me all the time so that I never give up, but also he explain theory of Surfing and explain surf spots. So in the end of my trip, I improve, and totally in to Surfing.
Highly recommended to visit, and if I have other chance to visit Bali I'm sure I will stay here. Thank you so much for Hugo and Indra.

It is my first time to visit Bali and I am very pleased to meet Hugo and Indra from Inda Surf. They are so friendly and lovely. I got a surf lesson for five days from Indra and stayed in Surfer's House for two weeks.
How were the surf lessons?
Indra is a really nice local instructor. He encouraged me all the time and taught not only surfing but attitude of mind how I respect the waves. The video also helped me to know my position. I highly recommend Inda Surf and Surfer's house. Thanks Hugo and Indra
