From our ocean view Vila, it is only a 2 to minute walk to the sea and a 15 to minute walk to the surf spot and beach in Luz.
The highlight of the house is definitely the roof deck with a wonderful ocean view. Furthermore, there is a huge living room and chill to out area with TV, DVD, computer, free Wi to Fi, and a balcony with sea view. And not to forget the pool where you can relax after a hard day at the beach.
As meals are not included, you will have a large kitchen at your disposal to prepare your own meals. The closest supermarket is a 10 to minute walk away (Spar and Baptista) and if you don’t feel like cooking, there are many restaurants nearby. And don’t miss out on getting the BBQ place in the garden to work – it usually turns into really nice chill to out evenings with food, drinks, and lots of fun!
This accommodation can also be booked without participating in any of the activities we offer, or make your own package, just drop us a line and we will make it work!

Surf Lessons we offer:
Beginner Surf Lessons
If you want to learn without pressure or fear of failure, then join our surf school – safe learning with a focus on FUN! We will teach you the basics in practice and theory. Max 8 surfers per instructor, 2 lessons per surfing day (each approximately 1,5h), material and lunch, pick ups from accommodation in Lagos, Luz, Burgau.
Intermediate Surf Lessons
Got the basic surf skills covered? Then join our intermediate lessons, max 8 surfers per instructor, groups based on surf level. All material is included and we can pick you up from Lagos, Luz and Burgau. Per surf day we have 2 lessons of approximately 1,5 hours, lunch included.
Advanced Surf Lessons
We always divide the groups based on the levels of the surfers, max 8 surfers per instructor. If you are an experienced surfer you can still join our lessons. Material and lunch included, we pick you up from Lagos, Luz and Burgau. If you dont need lessons our guiding is the right choice for you, or check our our special advanced surf weeks.
Private Surf Lessons
If you wish to have private lessons, or are with a group of maximum 6 surfers who are the same level. Our instructor is at your service with your own car, full or half day possible. Board, wetsuit and lunch not included but can be added.
Surf Guide
We offer guiding to experienced surfers. You get the ride to the beach, a spot introduction and a ride back home at the end of a satisfying day. You decide how much you surf! We can pick you up from Lagos, Luz and Burgau. When there are no more than 3 bookings the guided tour will go to the same spot as the surf school. We also offer special weeks for advanced surfers! Lunch included.
SUP Lessons
How amazing to start the day with a SUP sunrise tour! The tour starts just before sunrise, included 2/3 hours of paddle time, equipment and transport. Maximum of 8 paddlers per instructor.

Surf Lessons often occur at the areas best and most reliable surf beaches, Praia do Amado and Praia do Amoreira, 20-30 minutes from Lagos. Depending on conditions you may surf at any number of surf beaches nearby such as Maia Praia, Castalejo, Arrifana, Zavial, Cabanas and Porto de Mos. Either way the surf schools will pick you up and take you to the best beaches on the day.
Don't worry if you have no experience whatsoever. The beginner's lessons are taught in waist deep water riding the white water only. You will learn everything from standing techniques to turning and finally paddling outside and learning how to catch ‘green' (unbroken) waves. If you are already experienced the instructors will take you further out and help you develop your technique on bigger waves.
Lagos is a year round surf destination thanks to its position at the corner of the Algarve. It is one of Europe’s best kept secrets and offers waves for beginners, intermediates and expert surfers. It also has the warmest water in Portugal and the winter temperature is warm enough for t-shirts. In the summer the temperature is in the late 20s and stay bright until 10pm.
Within Lagos is the town's long golden sandy beach that seems to go on forever, Meia Praia, a very safe beginners surf beach, but not always reliable.
Further Afield
Head further West and after 20 minutes you arrive at a crossroad, take the turn South West and after a few minutes you reach the laid back surf town of Sagres where you will find breaks such as Tonel, Mareta, Beliche and Zavial. Again different standards are catered for in these beaches that wrap around Cape St.Vincent
Alternatively take the right turn and after 10 minutes you will reach a great beginners /intermediate surf beach Praia do Amado. Close by is one of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches Praia da Bordeira. Further North is the world class surf break in Arrifana and beginners beach Amoreira. The UK's Independent newspaper sums it up best: "Here is one of Europe's undiscovered treasures - thankfully protected by a 120km-long Parque Natural, which helps ensure that "tourist development" mostly means a café in a shack on a beach. It all seems like a fabulous secret, shared only by the intrepid few who make it this far. Their reward? Having miles and miles of these dramatic beaches (almost) to themselves."

How did you like the accommodation?
The vila in Luz is really the perfect place to relax. We were amazed when we arrived and saw the beautiful villa, with great interior. We really enjoyed every second.
How were the surf lessons?
We only stayed for a few days and therefore could only join the lessons for 1 day, but it was worth it! It was soo much fun. All the instructors and all the other guests that we met were really cool people. We will definitely come again!

We were just in for a couple of minutes and felt straight at home in the villa! We stayed in the room with the poolview and it was really the best place for a relaxed time. We met the best people over here.
