Kids Surf Lessons
We offer 2 hours of ASI / ISA / Surf Lifesaving qualified tuition for up to 15 year olds. Including soft surfboard, 5mm thick winter wetsuit, boots, gloves & hood as required (you won't be cold!) Maximum 8:1 surfer to instructor ratio. Under 8s need a parent or legal guardian to assist in the water (we will provide a wetsuit for the helper) Meet at the trailer beside Sandend beach & bring a towel.

Advanced Surf Lessons
In water tuition and video analysis of advanced surfing techniques such as bottom turns, cutbacks, floaters, re-entrys with a maximum of four surfers per instructor. I have years of experience having coached members of the national team and attended high performance coaching courses and I'm enthusiastic about passing this knowledge on to other surfers.

SUP Lessons
We offer 2 hours of ASI Level 1 (flat enclosed water), Level 2 (exposed open water) or Level 3 (waves) Standup Paddleboarding / Surf Lifesaving qualified tuition. Including 5mm thick winter wetsuit, boots, gloves & hood as required (you won't be cold!) Maximum 6 pupils per instructor for L1 & L2 and 2 pupils per instructor for L3. Under 18s need a parent or legal guardian to partake in the lesson.

Our main surf beach: Sandend, Moray Firth

Lessons time and place:

We normally run 10am & 2pm lessons but due to changing tides and surf conditions exact surf lesson start times are not confirmed until a few days before your lesson. Please do contact us by text or email the day before your lesson will start, so we can give you the exact schedule. Meet at our surf school trailer located right next to Sandend Beach at the stated lesson time and we will issue you with all the necessary equipment and we can start the lesson. Please bring swimwear for under the wetsuit, a towel, waterproof sunscreen & I'd recommend bringing a warm drink & a packed lunch. Please note we only accept cash on the day due to limited card machine connectivity at Sandend. Bank transfers before are acceptable though.
