Our Surf Hostel in Las Palmas is placed perfectly in Las Palmas, directly at the Paseo de Las Canteras. It is your decision what kind of travel you choose; if you want a calm and more private atmosphere or if you want to find new friends, in each case, this is the right place for you. Perfect place where to meet other guests and travelers. Private and shared bedrooms! Rooftop terrace right next to the beach.
Location
We are placed at a very remarkable privileged location, with 18 different waves, which are all accessible by walking! Waves for each level: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Our rooms are completely equiped with surfboards for most levels and with wetsuits. All kind of ammenities can be found nearby, restaurants,etc.
Furthermore you will get a custom made surf map. The Surf City Las Palmas map. In this map we explain you everything about the waves of Las Palmas, the characteristics, the influence of tides, the necessary direction of the wind, as well as the power and hight of a surfable wave.

How did you like the accommodation?
When I was looking for a holiday I wanted something relaxing but also with active, fun things to do. I wanted to have my own time but also have like-minded people to hangout with, and a place where I wouldn't feel out of place traveling alone. Surf Camp Las Palmas ticked all the boxes and much much more. Jordi and Laura made everything feel so personal, friendly and laid back but also really well organised. Gran Canaria is stunning and Las Palmas has a great mix of locals plus a few tourists and surfers. Watch amazing sunsets from the apartment, and let the lapping waves soothe you to sleep. I feel totally relaxed and replenished (and a bit achy from surfing and yoga!)

I really loved it. The surf camp is absolutely recomendable. The hostel is super tidy and the staff is so lovely. There are many small details that make you feel homelike! Furthermore the surf teachers got totally involved with me improving my surf skills. Gran Canaria is a very nice place to be (especially while it's snowing in germany) and the surf camp is maybe the very best place to stay at. Thx for everything, i will definitely come back!

Me encantó el surfcamp. Jordi es un hombre muy amable y generoso que lleva el camp con todo su corazón y sus ayudantes son muy buena gente. La organización de todo es intachable. Las clases de surf de la escuela Brisa son excelentes. He hecho cursos de surf en varios lugares y la profesionalidad de los entrenadores de Brisa me parece excepcional. Muy confortable era ademas el alojamiento. Estuve en el surf house que es muy acogedor, limpio, bien equipado, decorado con mucho amor y no podría estar mejor ubicado. También me encantó la excursión a la plantación de café y la piscina natural.
Estoy simplemente contenta y agradecida haber elegido el surfcamp Las Palmas para mis vacaciones en Gran Canaria. Muchísimas gracias Jordi y equipo!!!

How did you like the accommodation?
Best hostel you can ever find in the Canary islands. Clean rooms, good bed, good and clean bathrooms, a really nice living room and kitchen where you meet all the awesome people that works and stays at the hostel, good wifi connection in the living room and a super awesome rooftop terrace where you can chill and have some drinks with your friends and all the people you have met!!!! 10/10 experience!!!! 100% recommendable!!!

How did you like the accommodation?
Accommodation was good, nothing fancy. Perfect location right on the beach, best food we had was bululu, a Venezuelan restaurant 3 mins away. There's also a bakery next door good for getting breakfast supplies
How were the surf lessons?
Beach was nice, instructors were friendly and looked after us. Groups were a little big and we could have had been more reactive to the conditions.

How did you like the accommodation?
The accommodation was in a good location. Right on the half way of the promenade. The ocean could be seen from the windows and heard at night. Generally very clean and tidy. Shared rooms and shared fridge. The necessary items in the kitchen.
How were the surf lessons?
Good and attentative teaching. The groups were not too big. Large suits for long but skinny guys like me. Otherwise everything was super good
