The area of El Cortecito, located near the breathtaking turquoise waters of the most beautiful beaches in Bavaro? to it is a peaceful and beautiful place.
Bavaro is a small tourist area where all the amenities in walking distance, near bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. What attracts this place? endless beaches with white sand and turquoise water, where you'll spend all your time every day! Hostel is within walking distance to the grocery store, the pharmacy, a fresh produce market, restaurants, bars.
Nearby from the most complete mall the Palma Real Shopping Village, banks (ATM), offices of mobile operators, movies, souvenir shops and many fine dining options.
At night, enjoy music and to learn dance Bachata in the best night clubs: Imagine, Coco Bongo.
The breakfast is perfect French bakery, which is 5 to minutes away. Here you can savor the aromatic brewed coffee and a fresh croissant or sweet dessert.
Just 16km North is Macao Beach in Punta Cana which is a great beach to learn how to surf with gentle longboard type waves.

Mixed dormitory room with shared bathroom. Room designed for a stay of up to four people to communicate with new roommates, which adds to the fun of staying in a hostel.
Shared room contain quality solid timber bunks with comfortable innerspring mattresses. Room are equipped with a fans, a closet for storage with mirror and personal lockers with the key. We provide for use free fresh linens and towels. Window blocking sunlight. In the room and the bathroom has plenty of outlets for charging laptops and other gadgets. Relaxing red lamp, will allow you to navigate the night in a time when people are sleeping. Reading lamp, is attached to the bed and allows you to read before sleep.

How did you like the accommodation?
Accommodation was superb,
very clean and everything as presented on the pictures,
everything in the house is well organised, and the location is fantastic,
very close to Bavaro beach and all the clubs and Bars, also local markets.
The hosts are welcoming and warm full of valuable advice, they are very helpful.
In the house you have a wide range of kitchen equipment to use, so if you are planning to cook it is very comfortable, there is a quite nice roof top too - were you can see stars from. :)
The location of the apartment is in relatively quite road of centre of Bavaro you are right in the middle, so the normal town noises are in surroundings, not to loud but also not dead silent.
Location is very strategic either if you staying for a bit longer or just passing for night or two,
if you are planning to surf, Surfing schools offer pick ups from the location or you can rent a car and drive yourself, it is approximately 23 minutes to Macao beach as you are driving through highway.
In the apartment there is space to leave your board, if you booking double room as I had, there is plenty of space.
Also I found it quite important - the couple which runs the place is VERY trustworthy, they also looked after me, I had moments where I forgot to lock the room (with all my belongings and money in)and I always found it locked on my return. also they keep the room and the whole flat impeccably clean.
In the area surrounding the accommodation you have many places you can eat at: by the beach and in the town, just around the corner on the same road there is ‘cut and stake’ I have been there couple of times and each time I enjoyed the food, just remember they are big portions so you might want to share. I had a part of my orders to go. :)

How were the surf lessons?
I have had surf lessons but I haven't booked it through surfholiday.com I contacted Macao Surf Camp independently, where I was extremely lucky to meet wonderful bunch of people. especially the owner Rafael - very helpful. teachers are great everyone of them got different skills they always with you.
