THE SURF & YOGA HOUSE
Our newly built boutique to style surfcamp offers 7 high standard en to suite bedrooms. All rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan, air conditioning, flat to screen TV with movies (only in deluxe and superior rooms), en to suite bathroom, fresh towels, fridge, free Wi to Fi, safe and stylish furniture. Our house is made up of 2 shared rooms, 3 deluxe double rooms and 2 double or triple superior rooms. So no matter what your budget is our rooms will suit your requirements!
The house has two shared living rooms where you can meet and socialize with the other guests. The open plan living room on the first floor contains a small kitchen, a dining table and a lounge corner where you can relax, meet other travellers or read a book. Every morning you will have your breakfast here while enjoying the breathtaking view of the banana plantations.
Downstairs in our recently renovated lounge area, we have a patio with a refreshing plunge pool. Next to the pool there is an open kitchen/bar where you can hang out after your surf session and share your Bali adventures while drinking a cold beer, a tropical cocktail or a fresh juice.
Location
We are located in central Canggu, when arriving from the airport we can pick you up for free.
We depart from the surf house at 10 AM to take you to the most suitable surf spot. Because the surf conditions vary from day to day, our surf instructors will choose an appropriate surf spot every morning. A final decision will be made last minute using the surf forecast and a surf spot check. Surf lessons will strictly be taught at breaks that are suitable for surfers of all levels.
INTERMEDIATES & ADVANCED
For intermediate and advance we have separate surfsafari & guiding. Our more progressed surfers have the chance to go and surf bigger and more advanced surfspots seperatly from the beginners group. This all depends on the group, level and conditions. There is daily a opportunity to go for a early morning session to start the day with and go for a second session in the afternoon. Maximizing your surf has never been that easy.

Season
Year round Surf destination. April to November is the dry season and most popular time. Jan-Feb expect heavy afternoon rains but still plenty of surf and less crowds.
Bali benefits from an almost endless supply of Southern Ocean groundswell meaning you are very rarely disappointed. SW swells wrap around the Bukit peninsula creating an array of world class lefts including the infamous Uluwatu which is Bali's most consistent wave. It is for the more experienced surfers and it tends to section when it's smaller which does spread the crowds out by allowing take offs almost anywhere down the line. The wave is broken down into three sections, Inside corner, Racetracks and Outside corner.
Further down the Bukit peninsula you can find Padang Padang which is home to Bali's most desired barrel and a more chilled out Bali surf holidays place to stay than the busier Kuta. It is a beautiful white sandy beach with reef out back for the more advanced, while in front it is perfect for beginners.
Bingin reef is a fun short tube wave, that can get crowded.
Dreamland beach is next in line and is one of the more user friendly beaches on the Bukit. It runs from deep water and can often be a shore break where you need to avoid creasing your board or hitting one of the many tourists playing on the inside.
Balangan is slightly more secluded with another perfect looking left point. It fires when the swell direction is big enough and coming from the right direction.
For beginners & intermediates there are many quality beach breaks around including the long beach break in the centre of Kuta and up to Legian. Further north west is Canggu which has a better mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced waves than the high performance waves on the Bukit Peninusla.
On the east side of the island you can find Nusa Dua, Sanur & further up Keramus. This side of Bali tends to work better in the Wet season (October to April).
Across from the Bali Peninsula is Grajagan or G-Land. A much more remote spot than the rest of Bali, surrounded by thick jungle and wild animals. It is often referred to as the best wave in the world. A long very consistent wave with a variety of different sections. but mostly for experienced surfers.

PAYMENT
- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due to the property 28 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 28 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- If you are obliged to cancel your booking you should write to Solid Surf House/ Surf Company Ltd. immediately. Free cancellation is applicable within 24 hours after we received the booking form with exception of bookings made with 14 days before arrival dates. Bookings within 14 days before arrival date can not be cancelled and require 100% compensation. After 24 Hours the following sliding scale determines if your holiday is refundable: 1. Cancellation over 6 weeks before arrival date- loss of 50% of holiday cost (deposit) – however it is possible to reschedule this holiday so your deposit is not completely lost*. Refund: 50% incase of full 100% payment. No refund when only 50% is paid. (*Only applicable for cancellations made over 6 weeks.) 2. Cancellation 4 – 6 weeks before- loss of 75% of holiday cost. Refund: 25% incase of full 100% payment 3. Cancellation under 4 weeks before- loss of 100% of holiday cost. Refund: 0% incase of full 100% payment. payment Every guest is responsible for their own cancellation insurances in case of loss of holiday costs. In order to receive refunds we will apply the refund scale mentioned above and are subject to reasons as: severe illness which makes the holiday impossible, passing away of 1st degree relatives: wife, kids, parents. All other reasons are not accepted for refunds. To refund according the refund scale we need official documented proof to fulfill the refund payment as stated in our refund scale. For the remaining lost amount percentage, we will supply documents of your booking for your cancellation insurance to claim the remaining part of your lost holiday costs. A cancellation insurance is fully the guests responsibility! If payment is left out we will pursuit with our international deb-collecting agency to honor the contract and agreement. All forth-coming costs are forwarded and will be calculated accordingly.

This place is amazing to meet other people. The combination of surfing and yoga is perfect. Wish I could have stayed longer. If you like to learn how to surf this is the place to be. The people that work here are really nice! Especially Diante!

I stayed at the solid for 9 days and they were just perfect. Great house, spacious room, friendly and helpfull staff, awesome surf- and yoga lessons. All over the perfect vacation. I would recommend it to all of my friends and i hope to be back next year.

Solid surf house is a truly awesome place. The staff is so friendly and helpful and you instantly feel at home. The food is brilliant and the house is even better than the pictures. There is such a good vibe there which makes it so easy to make new friends and you can have a good laugh with everyone, especially the surf instructors who are all really cool and fun people. It was my first time surfing and I got a lot of help and useful tips from the instructors who really went out of their way to make everyone succeed and get better at surfing.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and I'm already looking to book my next trip there. I really recommend this place to everyone
