Surf & Travel Camp is right in the center of Taghazout, directly at the beautiful seaside of Morocco. The beach is just a minute walk from the Camp and on our big roof terrace you can check out the waves on surf spots like Hash point or Panoramas. Famous Anchor Point is just a stone's throw from the Camp.

Location
After being just a small fishing village in North Africa, Taghazout became famous for its good wave conditions and the sunny weather throughout the whole year. Nowadays it is known amongst surfers from all over the world. Around Taghazout you will find more than 20 surf spots for all levels along the coast.
The small town is a mix between european and local berbere culture and is popular for its chilled atmosphere and nice people. It always feels like home ;)

Taghazout is the best place to surf cause you just need 5 mins to the nearest spots and you can find lots of different swells and spots very close to each other. For sure you will find waves that match your surf skills. However high season is in winter time, you can still enjoy surfing in the sun.

Surf Lessons we offer:
Kids Surf Lessons
We offer surf lessons for kids from 6 years. 2 hours surflesson including packed lunch and transport to the best fitting surf spot, surfboard and wetsuit included. We ask that parents stay close by for children between 6 and 12 years. Safety and fun are our main priorities.
Beginner Surf Lessons
Our beginner surf lessons take place within a surf coaching day trip. It includes packed lunch, surf equipment for the whole day trip and transport to the best fitting spot. The lessons are split up in a theoretic part at the beach and later practicing in waist deep water with the help of the surf instrucor.
Intermediate Surf Lessons
The intermediate surf lessons take place within a surf coaching day trip. It includes packed lunch, surf equipment for the whole day trip and transport to the best fitting spot. In this lesson, our surf instructor will be next to you in the water and give you important feedback, so that you can focus on developing your surf skills and learn first maneuvers.
Advanced Surf Lessons
For advanced surfers, our surf instructor will transport and guide you to the best fitting spot. A 2-hour surf lesson, packed lunch, transport and equipment are included. The istructor will join you in the water and give you helpful advice and feedback so that you will control your board easily and surf the waves.
Surf Guide
After a really good breakfast, our surf team will prepare your surf guiding day trip. They will drive you to the best spot between Anza and Imssouane along the coast depending on the swell. They will also give you important advice concerning local conditions of the spot. Transport, packed lunch and surf equipment are included.
Surf guiding is available for groups of at least 5 persons.
Yoga
We offer yoga lessons for groups on our rooftop terrace with beach view and professional instruction for one hour.
Anchor Point
Level: Advanced
Anchor Point is a spot for experienced surfers. The waves are powerful and clean and pump with speed. Just 15 minutes walk from Taghazout
Panorama Beach
Level: All Levels
Panorama Beach is one of the best surf spots for everyone, beginner or advanced surfer. There is beach break and long waves.

The surrounding 10km area of Taghazout & Tamraght have gained legendary status as a surf mecca and without doubt Morocco's surf capital. There are not many places in the world that have waves accessible to beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers but this area has it all.
Taghazout waves includes the beginner/intermediate surf spots Panaromas & Hash's Point. Further south is the long stretch of beach that leads to the next town of Tamraght, a fantastic learner area with two advanced breaks at the south end Devils Rock & Banana Point.
On the north end of town is Moroccos most famous wave, Anchor Point, a world class long right break. And around this headland is La Source & Killers, another two of Moroccos most reliable & famous waves.
10km further north is the town of Tamri which has a great selection of beginner & intermediate waves as well as a few secret spots.

PAYMENT
- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due to the property 28 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 28 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- If you are obliged to cancel your booking in any form, complete or partial, you should inform S&T immediately. By cancelling over 4 weeks before arrival, the guest looses the deposit. By cancelling 2-4 weeks before arrival, the guest has to pay 50% of the total cost. Cancellation under 2 weeks before arrival means loss of 100% of the total cost.

How did you like the accommodation?
I was in a twin room right under reception and the WiFi was brilliant which was great because I had a lot of work to do in the evenings.
How were the surf lessons?
Jemal was brilliant and I would give him 5 stars. I was there for guiding and he managed to balance the requirements of guiding and surf lessons brilliantly well. He would find the correct spot every time in my opinion. Todo drove me to a spot on the last day after me having spent the morning in a spot which was crowded with beginners. Sometimes I felt the guiding and lessons could have been separated to meet the different requirements of the two different groups. They definitely listened to feedback and were open to suggestions demonstrated by todo driving me to better spot having realised that I was desperate to surf lots of waves on the last day.

How did you like the accommodation?
I had a great time at Surf & Travel Camp! The people there are so nice and so welcoming! Because it's a camp, they really get to know you well and treat you personally. The dinners were really good! I loved every dish that they served and now I have a special place in my heart for Tagine! The logistics from the airport to the camp to all the surf spots were flawless. The camp was also well located. You can see the beach from the terrace and you will experience nice sunsets there.
How were the surf lessons?
The surf sessions were also nice, everyone was trying to help each one become better. We also tried different spots which was nice because it's trying something new. The whole experience was good.

How did you like the accommodation?
Right from booking the service and support was great. In checking in I was made to feel super welcome. The room was great as were all the amenities.
There was a real chilled out vibe the whole week, I loved the food and ate in the hotel every meal, however, there was a great spot that was recommended just a few doors away if you prefer.
I have already started to plan my return visit.
How were the surf lessons?
All trips were fantastic, the swell conditions and surfers ability was assessed everyday and we were taken to the right place at the right time.
I really started to get my flow back in no time at all.

I seriously fell in love with this place and with all the people here. If you're going to taghazout, the surf and travel hostel is definitely the best place you can stay. It's a clean and organized place with an amazing view on the atlantic ocean from the roofterasse. Yassine is such friendly, caring and helpful person and his employees are so too. I really found some good friends in them and i'm already missing them! Thanks for having us ✌�️❤️

How did you like the accommodation?
Was planning to stay here for a couple of nights but ended up staying longer because of the great hospitality from Yassim! The hostel itself has a great relaxed atmosphere and Yassim will look after you with whatever you need, whether it be surfing, buses and taxis or a day trip tonparadise valley day, which is a must do. I would definitely recommend staying at Surf and Travel Hostel especially if you are looking to meet new friends. Also outside the Hostel only a few shops towards the beach is a small sandwich van which makes amazing Kefta Sandwiches!

THIS PLACE is the BEST. Hands down top hostel experience. Meant to go for two days and we stayed for two weeks. Owners and staff are amazingly helpful, accommodating and friendly. They're also pretty great cooks. The hostel itself was very clean and facilitates a perfect social atmosphere where you can meet great people and also get your quiet snooze time. Wouldn't stay anywhere else and I am already planning my return trip due mostly to the INCREDIBLE HOSPITALTIY my friend and received while staying here. Can't wait to go back!!!

Stayed here for two weeks, and I had such a lovely time!! Yassin and Alex are amazing hosts and full of endless positive energy!! I enjoyed every second and will return without a doubt :D !!! Staying anywhere else is a mistake ;)
