Stay with Wave Gypsy Surf & Yogain a traditional Moroccan house, and enhance your Moroccan experience. It is a beautiful house with well to equipped, modern kitchen, 7 guest rooms, and well to decorated bathrooms. They have all the home comforts you need. They also have a traditional Moroccan salon, which is the perfect place to chill out after a long day at the beach. The rooftop terrace is a great place to eat and relax, and watch the beautiful African sunsets.
Location
Set in the small beachside town of Tamraght, you’re close to so many amazing surf spots and beaches. With the mountains behind you and the ocean in front, you couldn’t ask for a better place to spend a week. There are some lovely cafes in the village and a few shops to buy some supplies if you need. The village has an easy to going vibe and is full of like to minded that are happy to chill and take in the scenery! Spend time with the family, get to know them and find out about their fishing history and how they have an affinity with the ocean, a reason why they love surfing so much!
Tamraght and the surrounding area has a long history of fishing, and you can still see the small blue boats around the beaches and out in the ocean and of course the fish in the area is fresh daily. The area is also well known for argan oil, and you can go into the mountains and see them making it from the original argan nut.
There are plenty of places to buy argan products. Berbere peanut butter is another delicious and local treat, as is the specialized honey you can buy. Tamraght and the other villages around are rich in culture and history, so it’s a great place to visit and maybe buy some treats to take home!
The area around Wave Gypsy is quiet but in just a few minutes walking you are at the Atlantic Sea and some great beaches as well as Surf Spots.

Our surf lessons are 3 hours per day. We will pick you up in the morning from your accommodation and bring you to the beach. We will teach you how to get up, everything you need to know about your board and the ocean. We are always happy to help with any kind of questions.
Intermediate Surf Lessons
Our surf lessons are 3 hours per day. We will pick you up in the morning from your accommodation and bring you to the beach. We will bring you to the perfect spot to progress your surfing skills. We will ride green waves and you will learn to control your board better and how to turn. We are always happy to help with any kind of questions.
Private Surf Lessons
If you want a 1:1 surf lesson to get even better - no problem we are having the best surf instructors to progress your surfing skills. We will take pictures to show you are getting the pro super. We are always happy to help with any kind of questions.

The surrounding 10km area of Taghazout & Tamraght have gained legendary status as a surf mecca and without doubt Morocco's surf capital. There are not many places in the world that have waves accessible to beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers but this area has it all.
Taghazout waves includes the beginner/intermediate surf spots Panaromas & Hash's Point. Further south is the long stretch of beach that leads to the next town of Tamraght, a fantastic learner area with two advanced breaks at the south end Devils Rock & Banana Point.
On the north end of town is Moroccos most famous wave, Anchor Point, a world class long right break. And around this headland is La Source & Killers, another two of Moroccos most reliable & famous waves.
10km further north is the town of Tamri which has a great selection of beginner & intermediate waves as well as a few secret spots.

- Your balance is due to the property 28 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 28 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- You can cancel anytime up to 30 days before travelling and you will be refunded the balance.

Wave Gypsy Surf & Yoga is a really nice place to stay. Tamraght is a really beautiful, "come down" area and with Franky and Taufique you have the best hosts you can find. Showing you all the secret
spots, you feel really blessed of getting to know the real culture of this beautiful land...If you really wanna relax, it's the "place to be". I'm really looking foward to come back to this amazing place to intense my surfexperience and join lovely people❤️

Besser geht's nicht.
Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen bei Franky und Taoufiq verbracht. Die beiden sind nicht nur großartige Gastgeber, sondern auch tolle Surflehrer. Ein Urlaub mit den den Franky und Taoufiq ist wie ein Besuch bei Freunden - man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause.
Besonders empfehlen kann ich den Ausflug ins Paradise Valley und den Surftrip nach Imsouane, beides waren absolute Highlights unseres Urlaubs.
Wir werden definitv wieder kommen! Danke für alles!

This summer, I stayed almost two weeks at Wave Gypsy Surf & Yoga and I would go back in a heartbeat. From the very first moment I felt like coming home, Franky and Taoufiq as well as the house crew welcomed me with warm open arms and made every moment perfect.
I booked the surf and yoga package and everything was perfectly well organized. I was a beginner in both sports and it was no problem at all.
Wave Gypsy Surf & Yoga is the perfect vacation place, no matter if you travel by yourself or as a couple/ in a group. I can highly recommend it!

I love travelling alone which again turned out to be a blast especially when staying with such amazing people like Franky and Taoufiq! They took more than good care of me: Awesome food, lovely decorated (super clean) accommodation, lush surf and amazing talks! What really needs to be pointed out is that there was always plenty of great moroccon food and both constantly aimed for me to have the best time, especially on the board. If you want to make a trip away from the mass surf camps this is what I recommend! I made some lovely friends there!�
