The Surf House has 6 bedrooms (3 suites, 1 twin/double room, and 1 dorm room) to some with a brilliant ocean views to a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room with Wi to Fi, Music, etc…

Our beaches are an excellent example of balance between human settlement and the natural environment. Besides the sun and the wonderful food, you’re going to find one of the best surf coastlines in Portugal, situated in the preserved area of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park.
The Arrifana Beach(one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal) is concessioned to our Surf School, during the summer season, and is officially accredited and certified by the local authorities.

Arrifana Surf School & camp, offers you a truly stunning Surf Holiday Experience in the southwest coast of the Algarve, where you will find one of the best surf coastlines in Portugal. The consistent swell at Arrifana Beach & sheltered bay is great for beginners, but also has a lot to offer for the intermediate or the more advanced surfer, with more reef breaks just 10 minutes away by car.

Beginner Surf Lessons
We offer surf lessons for two different levels (beginners, intermediate) according to your experience! (for advanced lessons please check our Advanced Surf Guidings or Private Lessons). The lessons last 3h each day. The complete equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, leash and rash guard) is provided before the class starts. The surf classes usually take place at Arrifana Beach.
Intermediate Surf Lessons
We offer surf lessons for two different levels (beginners, intermediate) according to your experience! (for advanced lessons please check our Advanced Surf Guidings or Private Lessons) The lessons last 3h each day. Private Surf Lessons
Get all the surf coach’s attention and make the most of your time with an intensive 2h private surf lesson. Ideal for Kids from 7 to 10 years, for adults from beginners to intermediate or advanced surfers, who professionally want to improve their surfing technique.
The private teaching for intermediate-to-advanced surfers covers a variety of activities designed to improve surfing technique.

This area of Portugal is a year round surf destination and has the warmest sea water in the country. In the summer months you can surf in just shorts or a shortie and it doesn't get dark until 10pm so you can surf all day long! The coastline is part of the protected natural park with 50 kilometres of protected beaches with no large towns or high rise tourist accommodations. Instead you will discover beautiful pristine beaches and small traditional towns a far cry from the main overrun Algarve tourist spots.
Amado beach is the areas best beginner/intermediate surf beach and a great starting point. Amado is surrounded by many other great surf breaks with options for all standards. Praia da Cordoama is one of the most picturesque beaches in Portugal, a long stretch of sand protected by cliffs, a great intermediate spot. Praia do Castelejo beside it is even more consistent.
There's a dozen beaches further north all worth exploring including Arrifana & Amoreira, two very consistent beginner/intermediate beach breaks.
Furthest south is the laid back surf town of Sagres. The beaches East of Sagres such as Zavial & Martinhal are usually calm and require a big swell to work, they are a great alternative if the surf on the beaches on the West coast are too big. There are many hidden spots around Sagres some of which will require an SUV to get too but are well worth it especially for the more experienced.

Arrifana is nice small town in Vicentina national park wih great coast, tracks and nice reataurants. It was also great not to have big supermarkets around!
