Reefend Surf School
About
Reef End Surf School was created in 2004 in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. The School currently employs seven people, enabling young people in Hikkaduwa to take their first step into the world of work and to gain experience in the tourism industry.
The Reef End Association aims to bring together its members to support the School and improve its operations.
Through membership dues and donations; members support the purchase of sporting equipment as well as repairs and maintenance of equipment.

- Due to changing tides exact surf lesson start times are not decided until the week of your lesson.
- After you book we will contact you the week of your lesson to tell you your lessons start time.

We Love Kids! One of the best parts of owning and running a surf school is watching and teaching the next generation. Treated with care with safety in mind for all customers young to old.

OK so you rip but you want to learn more from expert guides and instructors who can take you from ripping to RIPPING.

Crowd's are not your thing? that's OK - Reefend has you covered. We can arrange a private lesson with one of our instructors to take you through it 1 to 1.
Surf Guide
If adventure is your thing why not take a Reefend guide and explore the coast. There local knowledge will keep you out in front of the swells changes and in tune with the local scene.

November - March is the dry season and has the most consistent surf.
Payment
- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due when you arrive at the beach.
Cancelling
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
What happens if the surf school cancel the Surf Lessons?
In the rare occasion that conditions do not allow for the surf lesson to go ahead you will be given a full refund.
Debit/Credit cards are not accepted on site – cash only.
